Khai Restaurant’s ambiance reflects Chef Khai’s emphasis on simplicity and comfort.
The dining space, while intimate, also allows for more private conversations and yet feels open with an expansive glass curtain facing the street and Zynga headquarters. Espresso wood tables and accents, along with gold-toned pendant lighting, provide a warm yet simple stage for Chef’s food, and the generously padded chairs elevates the dining experience to another level of comfort. Throughout the restaurant, cultural accents and artwork reflect Chef’s heritage and culture.
Chef Khai’s tasting menu offerings will vary according to the quality and availability of menu components. Utilizing organic, sustainable and local ingredients will always be a high priority although Chef Khai’s focus on health, freshness and flavors will always come first. To complement Chef Khai’s culinary creations, wine expert Quinton Jay, proprietor of Bacchus Wine Shop, designed and curated versatile wine pairings to accompany groupings of courses. Wine pairing is additional and subject to availability.
Khai Restaurant will serve Chef's multi-course tasting menu plus available wine pairing nightly Tuesdays through Saturdays with 5:30 P.M. and 8:30 P.M. seatings. Reservations can be made by phone or via our website. Seating will be extremely limited so please reserve in advance. Walk-ins are subject to availability. Chef Khai’s new culinary home is conveniently located in the Design District of San Francisco, the new heart of Silicon Valley, and is adjacent to Adobe’s San Francisco headquarters.
